My web strategy!

I don’t know why, but it seems like all other Swedish artists are veeeery slow on catching on to new things like micro blogging and other web related stuff (probably because they’re signed to major labels that consists of old dull men who are afraid of internet)…Â I mean seems like American artists and actors catch on, for instance I’m following David Hewlett (Stargate Atlantis) and Greg Grunberg (Heroes) on twitter.

I’ve recently started an micro blog in Swedish on http://sofiatalvik.bloggy.se and the site internetredaktörerna has just published an article about my web strategy and how I work with internet for promotion purpose.

2 X Christmas charity

Christmas is a time to do good deeds and I’ve stocked up on them this year! MQ (one of Sweden’s largest clothing companies) has joined forces with the Red Cross this Christmas in the campaign “Give a little bit” and I’m very happy to be a part of it. There will be a commersial on TV with 16 Swedish artists and we’re all giving our fees to the Red Cross.

I’m also, as usual each year, releasing a Christmas single. But this time I hope you will all visit Stadsmissionens website (Stadsmissionen helps homeless people in Sweden) and donate a gift by text message. If you do that you will get my Christmas single “A Carol for the Lonely” as a cellphone signal directly to your phone. The single will be available as mp3 here on my website as well.

As you all know I’ve been doing all of the 12 tracks from my latest album “Jonestown” as small video duets with 12 of my favorite Swedish artists.

Now it’s time for all you guys and gals out there to compete for albums from all these wonderful artists. You have the chance to win 13 CD’s, one from each of the artists including a signed copy of my latest album “Jonestown”.

Word on the music street is that soultress Sofia Talvik's new cd "Street Of Dreams" is a remarkable hit,
Indie Chic went out to prove such a thing.
With amazing vocals and beautiful melodies, this cd is "To Die For" in music lovers eyes! A struggling female artist on the verge of stardom? Indie chic thinks so, the music hit our ears and we had to write a review on such a tasteful sounds and wonderful lyrics. "Its Just Love" is an astonishing song flows with melody and great vocals.
This wonderful swedish artists is amazing, if you like The Sounds or if you like Lauren Hoffman, Sofia Talvik is definently one to remember and check out.
