Thank you!

Two months ago I put up a Kickstarter project for a live album and a book about the US tour “Drivin’ & Dreaming”. I didn’t know if any of you would be interested in reading about it, after all, I posted a lot on Facebook and my website along the way. But not only did you show me that you wanted to read more about it, you showed me that you support me in what I do and want me to keep on doing it!

The book and the album was funded within 24 hours and now that the project is closed we almost tripled our goal. This has helped me to expand the book from the original planned 200 pages to 300 pages, filled with stories, pictures and recipes – and believe me I could have filled 1000, but 300 is not bad either. So this is me saying THANK YOU for your support, on the tour and now – after the tour.

The whole thing was such an amazing experience and I got to relive it all through making this book. I hope you will feel like it was you going on tour when you read it, and I hope you will love every story just as much as I love them and try all the recipes (especially the Swedish ones).

Some final editing is left for me to do before I send it off to the printer and it should be ready to ship to you in September. I hope you all have enjoyed your digital bonus album and have checked out the videos for all the songs (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL291E31BFD5CB9723).

Drivin’ & Dreaming – BOOK & LIVE ALBUM

From November 2011 to March 2013 I did the adventure of a lifetime. I toured America in an old RV and played my music in every little town I could find.

Many of you followed my tour through Facebook and my website and I met and became friends with so many of you along the way.

I’ve now decided to collect all my personal memories, pictures, stories and concert recordings from the tour in a coffee table book and a live album so that I can share all the fun I had with you. This is an excellent way to re-live the tour, as well as to be a part of it even if you didn’t get a chance to come to any of the shows.

Needless to say it’s a massive project that will take all summer for me to complete. That is why I’m asking you for help, and for some of your dollars to fund this huge undertaking.

I’ve decided to make this book and album it into a Kickstarter Project. That way I’ll let YOU choose how much this project is worth, how much you are willing to support my passion and work to continue to create art and music. If you don’t know how Kickstarter works, I will send out some tutorials later, but to in short you choose a tier and a reward to help me fund parts of the production costs.

Once aboard you’ll get updates on the progress, see how the book grows and get to listen to previews of the songs from the live album. Everyone who joins will also get an exclusive download of an acoustic version of my latest album “The Owls Are Not What They Seem” that I recorded out in the nature in beautiful locations along the way.

By becoming a part of the project you will help assure that the book and album becomes reality, and it will also be the only way to get your hands on it. It will be very exclusive and only printed for the ones who join, you won’t be able to order it on my website or in any other store after the project closes.

The tour has hit the West Coast!!!!

The Drivin’ & Dreaming tour has landed in Seattle, WA which means we’ve made it cross country and finally hit the West Coast! And we couldn’t have done it without you! We broke down in Idaho, but you came through for us and funded some new tires and ball joints and got us back on the road so THANK YOU to all of you who helped out with that!! Help me get a new tire pretty please

The flat tire took the air out of our tour spirit

Today on our way out from Cleveland, OH we got a flat tire on the RV *sobbing* – So it seems a new front tire for the RV will set me and the tour back about $400 🙁

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

This has been a great year with lots of stuff happening. I made 4 EP albums with 4 different producers, the wonderful guys in my backing band. And all of you chipped in and funded the releases so that we were able to finish the project. 4 ass-kicking metal bands did 4 ass-kicking cover albums of my EPs and one of them actually released a video too (or rather will release in a few days so I’m cheating by telling you now) Badmouth made a video of their cover of my song “To watch the bridges burn”, check it out here!

Throughout the year I have worked hard to get an artist visa to the US, and thanks again to my wonderful fans who helped out with house concert contracts and letters of recommendation I finally got my visa and packed my things and went to Florida in November. In December my big “Drivin’ & Dreaming tour” took off and I’ve now been all around Florida playing in different venues. One unexpected thing that I experienced is that I had at least a few loyal fans show up for every gig. I didn’t know there’s be so many of you!

Throughout the tour we’ve had the RV break down and fixed, nothing major yet thank God. We’ve been invited to have dinner with Greg and Michelle of The Refinery, Tampa, for southern shrimps and grits at Sian and Otis’ in St Petes and to stay the night in a really cool A frame cottage with Doris in Melrose to mention a few of all the lovely people we’ve encountered along the way.

It’s now time to say good bye to Florida and head up to South Carolina and Georgia for January. Many new experiences are to come, many new shows to be played. We’re heading into new states and a new year. In January my new album “The Owls Are Not What They Seem” will be released and I hope you will continue to support my tour as I go through America in my old RV – Drivin’ and Dreaming.
