RUST Magazine just posted this review of my new album “Big Sky Country” and did a little Q&A with me about the process of recording, and my U.S tour. So humbled and honoured to be compared with some great artists, in such beautiful words.

The Garden on Dance Moms

Sofia Talvik Dance Moms

The song “The Garden”, from my album “The Owls Are Not What They Seem” was featured in American TV channel Lifetime’s show Dance Moms the other week as the music for their dance “The Rose Garden”. It was amazing to see the choreography and the great performance. Check it out here:

European release April 14th

Big Sky Country Cover Art

Because Europe is always one step ahead with the hip and cool 😉 we are also releasing Big Sky Country a little bit earlier than in the U.S and Canada. From today, April 14th you can order signed copies of the CD in my shop (click here). If you are waiting for the U.S release you’ll have to wait two more weeks until April 28th, and then the CD as well as downloads will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and select stores.

Vinyls are being pressed as I write this and will be available from late May. This is due to the long production time for making vinyl.

New Big Sky Country merch in the shop!

So I’ve got some awesome new prints for my Big Sky Country album. You can get them on t-shirts, hoodies, coffee mugs, tote bags, laptop skins.. and many other fun products. I made each print in a light grey and a dark grey vintage design version (which means the print look slightly worn) so you can choose if you want them on white or black or any other color t-shirt, mug or whatever you choose. My favorite is the dark print on a light grey background, but you choose!
