December 13th is the celebration of Saint Lucia in Sweden. We usually celebrate by having a “Lussetåg” a Lucia parade, but instead me and Sweden’s sweetest jazz singer Anna Christoffersson are going to teach you how to bake Swedish Lucia Saffron Bread. We’re also going to sing you a Christmas song!

Still haven’t figured out what to get your lovers for Christmas and missed out on my special Christmas offer a few days ago? Don’t fret! Anna have some excellent albums that will make great Christmas gifts to anyone with good taste in music! Go here to get Anna’s albums:

My favorite food on the Christmas dinner table is the Swedish Christmas ham, but I know that a lot of people out there prefer to not eat meat for Christmas. One talanted artist that was a guest on my Xmas Calendar in 2009 showed me some great ways to celebrate Christmas without meat, and I decided to share that episode with you guys as a re-run.

Stiko Per Larsson is a great Swedish artist who is not only a vegetarian, but also have a habit of doing long walking tours. He’s walked all over Scandinavia playing his music. Check out his music and upcoming gigs here!

A couple of days ago I visited The Left End on WERS 88.9 FM in Boston and you can tune in and listen to it Sunday night (early Monday morning) June 25th 12:15 am EST. So all you Europeans are in luck as this means Monday morning for you. Pretty early but still. I’ll also try to put up a link so that you can listen later on if you miss it. To listen go to http://wers.org/ and click either of the buttons on the top of the page that says LISTEN LIVE (you can also click directly here)!

When I got there they told me about this lady that had been there a day before me with all her foot pedals … turned out to be fellow Swede Theresa Andersson. Too bad we missed each other in Boston!

Every year I release a free Christmas single and today at Advent second it’s up for grabs. As usual I want to urge people to do a good deed instead of paying me money for the single. It’s my Christmas gift to you and I hope you will pay it forward. This year I’m happy to be working with ActionAid as my choice of charity.

Read all about it and download it here!

Thanks to Martin Q Larsson and Joakim Lundgren for playing on the song! I hope you all like it.

Today is the day when the L.O.V.E & H.A.T.E saga has reached it’s end as “E – Part Four of H.A.T.E” is released. I’m extra happy to see that the last metal band in this project has a female singer, and that it doesn’t make it one bit less hard rock than the other EPs.

You can now listen to and buy “E – Part Four of H.A.T.E” by Akribi on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon and all your other favorite online stores. You can also stream (and buy) the entire EP here!

Thank you to all who have participated in the project through pledging, and to all the great metal bands who worked hard to make my songs their own. I’m blown away by they wonderful job they’ve done and I can’t wait to hear more from all of them!
