Salem Songwriter Session up now!

In the fall of 2012 (gosh it already sounds long ago doesn’t it?!) I did a Salem Songwriter Session when I visited Oregon on my tour. It’s now airing on CCTV all month, but you can also check it out on youtube!

Salem Songwriter Sessions is a new program on CCTV (Salem, OR.). Songwriters have the opportunity to talk about their music and to play several of their songs in a relaxed atmosphere. Host Tom Phillips interviews songwriters about their interests, influences an inspirations.

Live concert airing on TV in Oregon all month!

I played a concert at the Historic Grand Theatre in Salem, OR earlier this fall and it’s now airing on CCTV all month along with a Salem Songwriter session of my new Christmas single “One Last Wish For Christmas“.

Unfortunately CCTV don’t have a webcast, but you can check out the schedule here to see when my stuff is airing.

Help me get to Lollapalooza and I will take you with me!

In 2008 I became the first female Swedish artist to play at the Lollapalooza festival. It was also my first US tour and now, four years later I’ve done a lot of tours and am on my biggest one ever. Since December I’ve done over 100 gigs in the US and I’m working my way towards Chicago again. So when an opportunity arrose to enter a competition for a slot at this year’s Lollapalooza I felt I had to enter. But in order to make them understand that they should book me I need YOUR help. Tour blog begins today!

On the Lollapalooza tour I blogged on Aftonbladet.se but this time I thought I’d give all my non-swedish friends and fans an opportunity to follow me on tour, so my tour blog this time will be in english here on my own website.

Flight trip

I’ve just arrived in Canada for Canadian Music week and am exploiting the free wifi on the Fairmont to write this. The trip yesterday was about 14 hours long and we were very happy to have some pizza and get some rest on an inflatable bed at my friend Gary Taxali’s house here in Toronto when we arrived. Gary is the most talented artist, he designed the stunning coverart for Aimee Mann’s latest album and when he heard we were coming here he invited us to stay with him.
