Sofia Talvik – Americana / Folk with Swedish Roots
Unmistakably Nordic in flavor, Sofia Talvik somehow still conforms to American interpretations of her own original music, a North Sea siren blending sparkle and melancholy, creating a special niche of folk music.
Not much happening in Austin today. I’ve felt heartbroken and tried to heal it with buying a new pair of gorgeous shoes. Then I remembered I don’t have any space left in my tiny backpack so this was definately the very last purchase of anything on this trip.
I did a bunch of interviews after my gig at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. Dell had a huge dome there filled with laptops where you could do your own mixtape. They made an interview with me after my gig.
