Unmistakably Nordic in flavor, Sofia Talvik somehow still conforms to American interpretations of her own original music, a North Sea siren blending sparkle and melancholy, creating a special niche of folk music.
I need to learn some more German now that I am beginning to tour here in Germany. I just wanted to give you some info about my plans for the fall!
I’m doing a bunch of shows around my new home town Berlin and will then branch out to entertain people in Cologne, Stuttgart and several other places around this beautiful country. As fall is coming and it’s getting colder I need your warm love and support, so please bring 10 of your best friends and come to my shows!
I have an exciting fall ahead of me. My album Jonestown is being released in the US, Canada and Japan at the end of October and I have a lot of fun gigs coming up both in Sweden and in the US. The good thing is that a lot of these gigs are free and you should definitely swing by if you’re in the neighbourhood. Here’s what’s coming up:
Stockholm, Sweden: September 22nd: Musslan, Dalagatan 46 No admission
Me and my band are warming up for our Canada-USA-tour with a couple of intimate gigs at our favourite hang-outs in Stockholm. Tonight (Tuesday March 3d) we play at Berlin STHLM (Skånegatan) at 9pm (kl 21).
Come and cheer us on and listen to some old and some new songs!
