I once tried to bribe Fredrik Strage in the breakfast room at TV4. He was going to talk about new hip music, and I was going to play live at the TV4 Morning show where Fredrik is a profile every now and then. Apparently Fredrik wasn’t that easy to bribe that time, but he did want to be a guest in my Xmas Calendar when I asked him nicely.

If I were to show an American pictures from the Swedish Lucia celebration, they would probably think it was some kind of KKK meeting. But here in the cold, dark north celebrating Lucia is celebrating light in the darkness and used to be on the same day as the winter solstice, but now it’s set to December 13th every year.
Various things are tradition on Lucia, like baking saffron buns. So I teamed up with renowned jazz singer Anna Christoffersson and started baking!

Jag hörde nånstans att Anna Christoffersson och Steve Dobrogosz skiva hade blivit utnämnd till årets julklapp. Jag är inte förvånad för det är svårt att inte falla för Annas jazziga stämma. Så när det var dags för Lucia tänkte jag att det är ju lite tjatigt att ha ett luciatåg, för de är ju överallt. Så istället bjöd jag in Anna till en bak-kväll och kollade in vad hon hade för bra tips om lussekatter, för tydligen är det enda hon bakar.
