Sofia Talvik – Americana / Folk with Swedish Roots
Unmistakably Nordic in flavor, Sofia Talvik somehow still conforms to American interpretations of her own original music, a North Sea siren blending sparkle and melancholy, creating a special niche of folk music.
Here’s a short clip from today’s session at Full Sail University. I had a really nice group of aspiring engineers to work with today. Unfortunately there’s no music in the clip as it’s from after the actual session, but I’m throwing in a short preview of the song we recorded today.
It’s called “Florida” and the group joined me in the song booth for the chorus.

New vlog from me. I tried out some of the effects in iMovie this time. A very comprehendable program I must say, although rendering takes forever đ Anyways, fun to see how much you can do with just the camera on the computer. Maybe I should do a whole music video this way haha!
I’ll try to do a few vlogs while recording here in the US. At the moment I’m preparing for the first recordings next week, so here’s my first vlog.
