Sofia Talvik – Americana / Folk with Swedish Roots
Unmistakably Nordic in flavor, Sofia Talvik somehow still conforms to American interpretations of her own original music, a North Sea siren blending sparkle and melancholy, creating a special niche of folk music.

We’re playing at House of Sweden in Washington tonight and on our way here we stopped to grab a bite in Swedesborough, a little place in the middle of nowhere where we Swedes felt at home. Here’s a video of Warren predicting we’d get our food within 30 seconds after he starts counting. And I must say, if he’s always this accurate with his “psychic readings” I’m gonna have a heck of a career ahead of me 😉
