Unmistakably Nordic in flavor, Sofia Talvik somehow still conforms to American interpretations of her own original music, a North Sea siren blending sparkle and melancholy, creating a special niche of folk music.
I need to learn some more German now that I am beginning to tour here in Germany. I just wanted to give you some info about my plans for the fall!
I’m doing a bunch of shows around my new home town Berlin and will then branch out to entertain people in Cologne, Stuttgart and several other places around this beautiful country. As fall is coming and it’s getting colder I need your warm love and support, so please bring 10 of your best friends and come to my shows!
Friends, fans, creatures, strangers, nomads – music lovers! It’s just a few short days left to get your hands on one or more of the following items: The Drivin’ & Dreaming book, 300 pages of pictures and stories from my US tour and Drivin’ & Dreaming LIVE, an album with songs recorded live on the tour. These items are only available for pre-order up till August 1st, so hurry if you don’t want to miss out! After the project closes you won’t be able to buy these items on my site or anywhere else.
Go HERE to read more and order your copy. Everyone who places an order gets an acoustic album for free!
Huge thanks to all who already contributed and ordered a copy!
It’s been such and adventure being on the Drivin’ & Dreaming tour. We’ve been to 37 states, played over 250 shows and have met so many wonderful people. But it’s time for Europe to get some Sofia Talvik too and this spring the Drivin’ & Dreaming tour will be moving across the pond to the old country.
I have one more Florida show before we leave so don’t miss out on getting tickets, as seating is limited. It will be a night of music and stories from the road at the Civic Media Center in Gainesville, presented by Shake Rag Cultural Center, on March 1st 8pm. Tickets are only $10 and you can get yours HERE! I’ll see you there!
My Drivin’ & Dreaming tour is nearing its end but President Obama wouldn’t have it that I didn’t have any more shows in Washington, DC 😉 so I had to schedule a show at the House of Sweden on February 24th (I didn’t want to be responsible for the US invading Sweden after all). So if you’re up around DC you better get your tickets to my show NOW! See you on the 24th! The show is at 6pm and you can find the address here!
